Nick Taylor charity golf tourney raises over $500,000 for Fraser Valley groups helping kids, families
CULTUS LAKE — PGA pro Nick Taylor’s charity golf tournament continues to showcase the power of community, sport and generosity so that kids and their families in Chilliwack, Abbotsford and elsewhere can get a leg up on life.
The 9th annual Nick Taylor Charity Classic held Sept. 5-6 at Cultus Lake Golf Club raised more than $550,000 to support youth and family programs across the Fraser Valley and elsewhere. The two-day celebration featured a vibrant day of golf at the picturesque Cultus Lake Golf Club, followed by a community celebration in Chilliwack.
Taylor, a Fraser Valley native, rose to immediate fame with a dramatic win at the RBC Canadian Open in 2023 with a stunning 72-foot birdie putt on the fourth playoff hole.
Cultus Lake Golf Club provided a stunning backdrop for players and guests. With its rolling fairways, mountain views, and welcoming community spirit, the club created the perfect setting for an event that was equal parts competition and celebration.
