Final advance poll open today in Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK — Today represents the final opportunity for Chilliwack voters to cast their ballots at an Advance Poll for Saturday’s municipal election.

The final advance poll will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Landing Sports Centre at 45530 Spadina Avenue.

Polls will also be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day, Saturday, October 15.

There will be polling stations available at six locations:

Greendale Elementary Community School – 6621 Sumas Prairie Road
Landing Sports Centre, 45530 Spadina Avenue
Promontory Heights Elementary School – 46200 Stoneview Drive
Rosedale Traditional Community School – 50850 Yale Road
Sardis Secondary School – 45460 Stevenson Road
Yarrow Community School – 4595 Wilson Road

Voters will be casting a ballot for one mayor, six city councillors and seven School District 33 trustees.

In Abbotsford, the final advance polls have closed. Residents will have a choice to vote at 11 polling stations:

Polls in Abbotsford will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
