Chiefs Sign Luke Pilkington

Chilliwack, B.C. – The Chilliwack Chiefs are thrilled to announce the signing of 2008-born defenceman Luke Pilkington for the current season. During the 2024-25 season, Luke played for the Vancouver NW Hawks (BCEHL U18 AAA), where he tallied 9 goals and 28 assists for a total of 37 points in 36 games.
“Luke came into the main camp and earned his spot on our hockey club. For such a young player, he shows incredible poise with the puck and a high hockey IQ,” said Head Coach and GM Brian Maloney. “As he continues to grow and fill out physically, we believe his game will only get stronger. Luke has a bright future ahead of him, and we’re excited to work with him this season as he continues to develop.”
“I’m extremely excited to have the opportunity to play for the Chilliwack Chiefs,” said Pilkington. “This organization has a strong history, and the coaching staff does an amazing job of developing players. Every time I step on the ice, I want to give my best for my teammates, the coaches, and the fans who support us.”
