Langley RCMP investigating Thursday morning house fire

LANGLEY — Mounties in Langley are investigating the cause of a house fire that broke out early Thursday morning.
According to a statement from Langley RCMP Sgt. Zynal Sharoom, Mounties in Langley received a report of a fire at a home in the 7000 block of 204 Street at about 6:45 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 20). Police are currently on scene and working alongside fire crews from Langley Fire Department.
“We are in the very early stages of this investigation and actively working with the fire department to determine the cause of this fire. Motorists and other road users are asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes,” said Sgt. Sharoom.
