Man charged in break and enter also linked to rural burglary in Abbotsford earlier this week
ABBOTSFORD — A Mission RCMP spokesperson says a 32-year-old Mission man who was allegedly involved in a break and enter earlier this week in Abbotsford has been charged with a similar break and enter incident in Hatzic in November 2024.
According to a statement from Mission RCMP Corporal Harrison Mohr, Mission RCMP notified the public in November 2024 about a break and enter that occurred in Hatzic, a small farming community east of Mission, where over a dozen firearms, jewelry, and other items were allegedly stolen from a residential property.
On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, officers from the Abbotsford Police Department, the Upper Fraser Valley Regional RCMP, and Mission RCMP were alerted to a break and enter in progress at a farm property near No. 3 Road in Abbotsford. A black Dodge Grand Caravan attempted to flee, but officers successfully arrested both occupants. Both men were charged in relation to that break and enter.
