Chilliwack Chiefs looking for volunteers ahead of home season opener on October 1
CHILLIWACK — The Chilliwack Chiefs are looking for volunteers to enhance the game-day experience of Chilliwack fans for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
The Chilliwack Chiefs announced Thursday (Aug. 25) morning on social media that they’re eager to welcome volunteers for a variety of positions ahead of their home season opener against the Merritt Centennials on Saturday, October 1 at the Chilliwack Coliseum.
Positions run the spectrum from ticket taking and merchandise to box office attendants, ushering, game night promotions, and many more. The team bills volunteering as an opportunity for participants to receive free tickets to a game of their choice, as the more games volunteers work, the more tickets they can receive. There are opportunities to meet and interact with the players and receive discounts at the Barn, the Chiefs’ merchandise store.
Prospective volunteers are invited to contact Chiefs volunteer coordinator Kathi Karah at kathi_karah@hotmail.com, or fill out the volunteer form at https://chilliwackchiefs.net/team/volunteers/.
