“They’re all curated by Science World’s T. rex: The Ultimate Predator,” she remarked. “So, if you know your T. rex facts, you’ll get through super quickly and have no trouble, but if you don’t, you’ll just go in circles.”

There are two maze options available—a short maze and a long maze.

“Our short maze is more family-oriented, which is our T. rex this year,” Oddy elaborated. “It has a bridge in it; it’s about 15 to 20 minutes, and it’s always maintained to accommodate strollers and ensure accessibility. The long maze takes approximately half an hour to complete.”

Last October, the Chilliwack Corn Maze started something new called the Mud Maze.

“The short maze is always very well-kept with woodchips because in October it gets super rainy and muddy,” the part-owner of the family business said. “And then the long maze is known as our Mud Maze. It rains a lot in the Fraser Valley, there’s like a foot of mud at times, and we make a competition out of it.”

Greendale Acres has a lot more to offer than life-sized maze puzzles. It also boasts rows of lavender fields, sunflowers, zinnia gardens, and friendly farm animals.

“We have lots of great photo ops, a lot of families come and dress up, and we have our pumpkin patch in the fall, our apple orchard here,” Oddy said. “One of our brand promises is that we want guests to feel like they are friends and family, and we want people to create traditions here. I think it’s a place where people can gather, which is so lovely to see.”
