Vital signs machines featured in $35K donation to Mission Memorial Hospital
MISSION – Four vital signs machines highlight a $35,000 donation to Mission Memorial Hospital.
The equipment, donated by the Mission Health Care Auxiliary Society, is expected to be deployed across several departments, aiding in everything from routine check-ups to critical care.
Vital signs machines, which currently cost about $5,000 each, detect and monitor medical problems by measuring body temperature, pulse, respiration rates, and blood pressure.
O2 tank stands to support the monitors, as well as a $9,600 vein finder, eight walkers, and a syringe pump, were also included in the donation.
