G.W. Graham Grizzlies come away with gutsy win at the Apple Bowl in Kelowna
KELOWNA — The G.W. Graham Grizzlies needed clutch performances from its offensive and defensive stalwarts to get the job done against a tough opponent in Mt. Boucherie last Friday.
On both sides of the ball, the Grizzlies didn’t disappoint.
Running back Denver Adam had 192 yards on the ground, and quarterback Lincoln Boyd was scintillating in the pocket on 21-of-26 passing for 157 yards and two critical touchdowns, including a game-winning toss to receiver Michael Blair in the waning moments of the game, as the Grizzlies beat the Bears 20-14 at the Apple Bowl in Kelowna last Friday (Oct. 4).
