Cultus Lake Park Board warns public about disturbing incident that targeted a First Nations woman

CULTUS LAKE — Cultus Lake Park authorities are warning the public about a disturbing incident in which a young woman from Soowahlie First Nation was approached aggressively by a man who told her to get into his vehicle earlier this week sometime.

According to a Facebook post from Cultus Lake Park dated Thursday, May 23 at 4:16 p.m., the incident was reported earlier Thursday and occurred between Leavens Road and a marijuana dispensary on Columbia Valley Highway. It has already been reported to the Upper Fraser Valley RCMP.

Police have not issued a news release about the incident.

The exact time of the incident was not revealed in the social media post.
