Drunk driver nabbed after driving Ram truck backwards at high rate of speed, gets stuck in garden
MISSION — Police inevitably see all kinds of scenarios in their line of work, some of which are otherwise unusual.
But this one takes the cake.
Mounties in Mission say a 52-year-old Mission man received a 3-day driving prohibition after driving his pickup truck while impaired at a high rate of speed – in reverse.
According to a statement from the Mission RCMP detachment, Mission RCMP were called to 12th Avenue near Grand Street on Friday evening, May 10 after a witness saw a white Dodge Ram pickup truck driving backwards at a high rate of speed down the road, before hitting a parked car and ending up stuck in a garden bed outside a house on the street.
