Gordon Lightfoot tribute show featuring BTO guitarist comes to Chilliwack Cultural Centre

CHILLIWACK — A B.C.-based group is inviting All the Lovely Ladies – and other residents – to honour Gordon Lightfoot’s legacy at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre this week.

Chilliwack native and Bachman-Turner Overdrive guitarist Brent Howard Knudsen joins singer-songwriter John Paul Byrne’s band for “If You Could Read My Mind: The Gordon Lightfoot Tribute Show.”

“Byrne is known for his uncanny ability to channel Lightfoot’s rich baritone and poignant storytelling, an experience that feels like stepping back into the intimate concert halls of the 1970s,” read a release. 

“This ensemble captures the same spirit and musicality that defined Lightfoot’s distinctive sound, blending folk, country and rock elements into a resonant performance.”
