3-car pileup slows eastbound Hwy. 1 through Abbotsford for 5+ kms

ABBOTSFORD — Social media users are reporting that a 3-car pileup on eastbound Highway 1 in Abbotsford just after Mount Lehman Road (exit 83) is causing huge congestion Thursday afternoon (May 16) around 5 p.m.

According to a Google Maps image shared by Chilliwack resident Julie Hiscock, dark red traffic is shown between Mt. Lehman Road all the way past Sumas Way (exit 92) on the eastbound side.

Surprisingly, DriveBC has nothing on its X/Twitter page about any vehicle slowdowns.
