Chilliwack historical society to hold small engine show and antique sale this weekend
CHILLIWACK — The Chilliwack-based Atchelitz Threshermen’s Association will hold an antique sale and small engine show this Saturday and Sunday, May 18-19 with plenty in store for history buffs.
The ATA, which operates a museum and other historical buildings next to Heritage Park at 44146 Luckakuck Way, will showcase a large variety of surplus antique pieces, including lamps, “horse things,” beer bottles, and irons, just to name a few. All those will be available for purchase.
The tractor pullers will be there, and two antique car clubs are slated to make an appearance, including a Thunderbird club. And, of course, lots of small engines and a model train display.
There will also be breakfast and lunch for sale at Gramma’s Place, and a lawn mower race on Saturday.
