CHILLIWACK — It might be an ideal job for someone in high school or university, or people with flexible schedules, looking to earn some extra cash.
WorkBC in Chilliwack will host a hiring event for the new Dairy Queen in Popkum next Wednesday, March 20 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at their Yale Road office near Shoppers Drug Mart.
According to an email from a spokesperson dated Monday, March 4, Dairy Queen International has confirmed with the franchise owner that they plan to open the DQ restaurant at 52964 Yale Road East in Popkum in April or May.
WorkBC says all positions need to be filled including managers, assistant managers and crew members. WorkBC is located in suite 200, 45905 Yale Road, in the Shoppers Drug Mart shopping centre.
