Paramount housing project in downtown Chilliwack still accepting tenancy applications

CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack Community Services says its sparkling new 64-unit housing complex on Yale Road is still accepting and processing applications.

Chilliwack Community Services (CCS) wrote on Facebook Tuesday (Mar. 12) that the Paramount Building at 46187 Yale Road in downtown Chilliwack is inching closer to completion.

“We are nearly at the finish line of the Paramount Building! The residential suites have moved into the final cleaning stage of this huge and massive process. We can’t wait to invite residents to move in soon.”

In response to a question contained within its Facebook post, CCS confirmed there are still units available. Of the 64 units, 56 are designated for seniors 65 and older, while there are eight units for young adults ages 18-25.

“The team is still processing applications and there are still units available. You can connect with our housing team directly for more information at housing@comserv.bc.ca,” CCS wrote at 4:27 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12.
