Chilliwack Hospice Society invites the community to its 6th annual Fashionista Fashion Show
CHILLIWACK — Organizers of an upcoming fashion show in Chilliwack say the runway for the 6th annual Fashionista Fashion Show will be both “classy and a little bit sassy” in support of Chilliwack Hospice Society.
The fun happens Friday, May 10 at Evergreen Hall (9291 Corbould Street), featuring 50-plus original thrifted outfits shown by volunteer models. The fundraising event has emerged as a favorite among the local thrifting community.
According to a news release from marketing manager Desmond Devnich of Chilliwack Hospice Society, each outfit is curated by Thrifty Boutique staff from donations received at the store, located near the Evans roundabout. Following the show, featured items like clothing, shoes, and jewelry are available for sale.
Models vary in age from seven to 70, and include Thrifty Boutique volunteers, their grandchildren, Chilliwack Hospice Society directors, and members of the community.
