Burnaby RCMP asking for help in hit-and-run investigation

CHILLIWACK — Mounties in Burnaby are looking for witnesses and dashcam video after a hit-and-run left a pedestrian with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the victim was crossing Marine Drive by the Hindu temple Friday (Mar. 8) evening when she was struck by a white SUV.

The driver initially stopped to help the woman but left the scene without exchanging any information.

Police say several people in the area saw what happened, and some took photos and video, but no one has come forward.
