ABBOTSFORD — DriveBC says there will be westbound road maintenance work near Cole Road (exit 99) until 6 p.m. Wednesday evening (March 6) and result in major delays.
According to a post on X/Twitter at 3:16 p.m. from DriveBC, road work will continue, affecting westbound traffic.
Motorists should expect major delays and reduced speeds.
Earlier Wednesday afternoon, DriveBC said the right lane of westbound Highway 1 was closed due to road maintenance work. The speed limit westbound had been reduced to 70 km/h.
