Hells Angels gang member jailed three years

VANCOUVER — B.C.’s anti-gang unit says a full-patch member of the Hells Angels has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing the proceeds of crime.

Maple Ridge resident Courtney Lafreniere was among seven men charged in 2020 following an investigation into an interprovincial drug trafficking organization.

The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of B.C. says Lafreniere pleaded guilty last September.

Lafreniere was sentenced on Thursday.
