Sunday shooting in Surrey injures one

SURREY — Surrey RCMP are investigating a shooting Sunday (Feb.18) evening in Surrey, that left one man with serious injuries. The incident took place in the Guilford area shortly before 6:30 p.m.

According to a news release from Surrey RCMP, officers were called to the 15200 block of 101 Avenue after receiving a report of gun shots.

Officers reached out to potential witnesses in the neighbourhood to attain further clues behind the shooting. While the investigation remains in its early stages, authorities are confident the shooting was an isolated incident.

Investigators are asking anyone with information, including dash cam footage around the area of 152^nd Street and 101 Avenue between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.
