Arrests made after Saturday night shooting in Abbotsford
ABBOTSFORD — Arrests have been made following a shooting Saturday (Feb. 17) evening in Abbotsford.
According to a news release from the Abbotsford police, patrol officers were called to a robbery in the 3600 block of Townline Road at 7:05 p.m.
When they arrived, they came upon a victim of a gunshot wound. The man was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
With support from other law enforcement agencies, including the RCMP Air 1 helicopter, the victim’s vehicle was spotted in Coquitlam a short time later and those behind the shooting were arrested by police.
