Prince concludes visit to B.C.

WHISTLER — Prince Harry promised an “epic” Invictus Games when the event comes to Vancouver and Whistler next year.

Harry was in B-C for a three-day trip with his wife Megan, the Duchess of Sussex, to visit training camps ahead of next year’s Games.

At Friday’s celebratory dinner, he said the Games are about bonds built between nations and the shared journey of recovery that unites competitors and their families.

Prince Harry founded the Games for wounded, injured or sick service personnel and veterans, about a decade ago.
