Pothole repairs close one lane of Highway 1 through Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK — On a balmy day that feels like spring, Drive BC says pothole repair work continues on Highway 1 in Chilliwack and hopes motorists will slow down accordingly.

Drive BC says eastbound pothole repair are ongoing Wednesday afternoon (Feb. 7), resulting in the right lane being closed between Lickman Road (exit 116) and Evans Road (exit 118).

The speed limit has been dropped to 60 kilometres an hour. Drive BC is asking motorists to watch for highway maintenance crews, pass with caution and to expect delays through Chilliwack.
