CHILLIWACK — A Chilliwack couple with a passion for horses will be able to splurge on a few more things on their bucket list involving horses after winning the B.C. Lotto 6/49 draw in January.
The B.C. Lottery Corporation announced Monday that Robert and Reta Magrath will be “trotting away with joy” after capturing the $1 million prize from the January 24, 2024 Lotto 6/49 draw.
BCLC says the Chilliwack couple checked its ticket on Robert’s phone while at home. “We were so excited! We had to count the zeros,” recalled Robert of the moment the pair realized they had won.
The Magraths are looking forward to completing horse related bucket list items together.
