Elfering’s big night leads Chilliwack to win in Langley

LANGLEY — Caleb Elfering scored at 4:38 of overtime to give the Chilliwack Chiefs a 4 – 3 victory over the Rivermen in Langley Friday (Feb. 2) night.

Elfering finished the night with two goals and one assist to lead the Chiefs offensively. Savin Kirk and Oliver Beaulieu also scored goals for Chilliwack.

The Chiefs carried a 3 – 1 lead into the period only to watch Langley roar back with two quick goals to even the game and force the extra time.

Vladimir Nikitin stopped 15 of 18 shots fired at the Chilliwack net while the Chiefs had 30 shots on Charlie Tritt and Mason Beaupit in the Langley net.
