Crash at Reid and Stevenson results in ruptured gas line Monday in Chilliwack
CHILLIWACK — A vehicle crash at Reid and Stevenson just west of Sardis Secondary resulted in a ruptured gas line Monday morning before lunch, prompting a rapid response from first responders in Chilliwack.
Chilliwack Fire and Chilliwack RCMP, later joined by B.C. Ambulance Service, were dispatched to the T-intersection of Reid and Stevenson Monday morning at 11:24 a.m. after a reported three-vehicle motor vehicle incident.
Chilliwack Fire and RCMP blocked off Reid and Stevenson Road to vehicles while they investigated the incident. A van wound up near the front yard of a home at the intersection.
