Updated at 6:35 p.m.: BC SPCA Chilliwack says it has secured foster care for all puppies.

Original story below:

CHILLIWACK — The BC SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) Chilliwack branch says it needs short-term foster care for the next two weeks to look after what they call a “delightful litter of puppies.”

According to a post from BC SPCA Chilliwack dated Wednesday morning (Dec. 27) at 9:30 a.m., the organization issued a time-sensitive request that requires immediate attention to look after a litter of puppies under specific criteria.

The organization lists the following foster criteria:

  • No other animals: We seek a foster home without other pets to ensure the puppies’ comfort and well-being
  • Adult-only home preferred: Given the puppies’ age and specific needs, an environment with adults only would be ideal
  • If you can spare time, space, and love for these little ones, please consider opening your heart and home to them. Your generosity can significantly impact their journey to finding their forever homes

If you meet the criteria and are interested in fostering, please email Chilliwack@spca.bc.ca; the organization will provide more details and happily answer any questions you may have.
