Multiple Chilliwack non-profits awarded community gaming grants meant to enrich the community
CHILLIWACK — Multiple non-profit groups that enrich the quality of life in the Chilliwack community have been awarded charitable gaming grants, the B.C. government announced Friday (Dec. 15).
Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra & Chorus was among the 11 Chilliwack-based organizations that received funding through an $18.2-million investment in arts and culture programs through provincially funded Community Gaming Grants. Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra & Chorus received $19,500. Others group benefitting from the provincial funding announcement include:
* Chilliwack Flight Fest Society, $32,000
* Chilliwack Museum & Historical Society, $24,400
