HOPE — A motor vehicle accident has left nearly 1,000 BC Hydro customers in Hope without power Sunday morning (Dec. 10).
According to the BC Hydro website, a vehicle crash east of the Trans Canada Highway has disconnected power for 943 customers in Hope for several hours now. Hydro says power went out at 1:05 a.m.
The impacted area consists of Kawkawa Lake and Othello.
Crews are on site and Hydro expects to have power restored by 11 a.m. Its website was last updated at 6:49 a.m.
