One sent to hospital after shooting in Langley

LANGLEY — Langley RCMP are investigating a shooting in that community Tuesday (Nov. 21) morning.

In a news release, Mounties say they were called to the 20100 block of 84 Avenue around 7:30 a.m. after receiving a call saying the sound of gunshots could be heard. When officers arrived, they found an individual suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

The individual was taken to hospital in an ambulance. Their condition is not known.

“Officers remain on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident but at this time there is no risk to the public,” stated RCMP Cpl. Zynal Sharoom.
