CHILLIWACK — Update at 2:53 p.m. Tuesday: WorkSafeBC has clarified for a second time today that there is no investigation into what appeared to be a construction-related incident last week in the 8100 block of Upper Prairie Road in Chilliwack.
Earlier today, WorkSafeBC had said it was investigating after some kind of incident happened last week in the 8100 block of Upper Prairie Road in Chilliwack.
According to a statement from Alexandra Skinner, manager of government and media relations, WorkSafeBC was notified of a serious workplace incident on Thursday, October 12.
“I can confirm that WorkSafeBC has launched an investigation into this incident,” Skinner said in her first email to Fraser Valley Today.
