CHILLIWACK – Pattison Media today announced the launch of Fraser Valley Today, an online news portal dedicated to “Everything Fraser Valley”.

The website, fraservalleytoday.ca, features news and community events from Chilliwack, Agassiz, Harrison Hot Springs, Abbotsford and everywhere in between.

Mark Patric, General Manager of Pattison Media Limited – Chilliwack Division, said today’s announcement ushers in an exciting new era.

“Fraser Valley Today will become the Fraser Valley’s ‘go-to’ community portal for information that really matters to the Fraser Valley and surrounding area and will operate 7 days a week,” Patric said. “At a time when other media are reducing service and staffing levels, Pattison Media is investing in providing Chilliwack and the Fraser Valley with a new source of high-quality, trustworthy, local news.”

The Fraser Valley Today team includes Patric, Sales Manager Katie O’Connor, News Director Dave Barry, and the journalists Laurice Gomes and Mike Vanden Bosch.
