Cultus Lake facilities hit by vandalism of over $35,000; authorities offering reward to ID suspects
CULTUS LAKE — The Cultus Lake Park Board is looking to identify individuals who have vandalized and damaged public facilities in and around Cultus Lake Park at an estimated cost of over $35,000.
According to a social media post on Thursday (August 3) from Chief Administrative Officer Joe Lamb of the park board, Cultus Lake Park is seeking community assistance to gather details related to several recent incidents of vandalism.
Images shared by Lamb appear to show an abundance of graffiti scribbled on playground equipment and other public facilities, an apparent hole in some kind of walkway, and damage to possibly the outside of a bathroom, just to name a few of the recent incidents.
The park is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the conviction or arrest of the person (or people) responsible for over $35,000 in damages to park property.
