CHILLIWACK — A new off-leash dog area is now available in Fairfield Island in Chilliwack.
According to a social media post Tuesday morning (July 25), the city of Chilliwack says a new off-leash dog park for big and small dogs alike is now open at Fairfield Park, located at 46213 Clare Avenue just west of Strathcona Elementary.
Fairfield Park, one of Chilliwack’s mid-sized public parks and sporting facilities, boasts an area of 11.4 hectares and offers amenities such as walking paths, a picnic area, playground and washrooms. The site can be accessed from Clare Avenue on Fairfield Island.
