Drop-in, punch pass and membership fees increasing at Chilliwack rec centres
CHILLIWACK — A modest fee increase for drop-ins, punch tickets and memberships will take effect this weekend on Canada Day at two city-owned recreation centres in Chilliwack.
Chilliwack Landing Leisure Centre wrote on Facebook Thursday morning that drop-in, punch passes and membership fees will be increasing starting this Saturday, July 1 at both the Chilliwack Leisure Landing Centre and the Cheam Leisure Centre.
The current drop-in fee is $6.35 for an adult; it will increase 10 cents to $6.45. For youth ages 4-12, it will increase from $3.20 to $4. For teens and students 19-plus with student ID, it will only increase five cents from $3.95 to $4.
A 10-visit punch card, or punch pass, for adults currently costs $53.60. It will increase 80 cents to $54.40. For youth ages 4-12, it will rise from $26.15 to $26.55. For teens and students ages 19-plus with student ID, it will increase from $34.85 to $35.35.
