Abbotsford Police arrest reckless drivers going over 130 km/hr in a 50 zone
ABBOTSFORD — Two reckless drivers paid a hefty price for reckless and dangerous driving this past weekend in Abbotsford.
According to a Facebook post from the Abbotsford Police Department, traffic members from the police department observed two vehicles driving over 130 kilometres an hour on Gladwin Road in a posted 50 km/h zone. Police say the two drivers were weaving in and out of traffic and passing cars in the oncoming lane.
Police caught up to the reckless motorists and arrested both drivers for dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. Both vehicles were impounded in the process.
Of the two vehicles impounded by the Abbotsford Police Department, one appears to be a Dodge Challenger-looking vehicle, while the second is a BMW coupe or sedan.
