CHILLIWACK — Ruth and Naomi’s is welcoming a community garden at its housing facility in Chilliwack thanks to the generosity of a Lower Mainland seed company.

“We are thrilled to announce that the gardens at Ruth & Naomi’s are now being planted, thanks to the generosity of West Coast Seeds!” Ruth and Naomi’s wrote on Facebook Monday. “A special shout-out and heartfelt thanks to West Coast Seeds for their generous donation of seeds, which will bring life, nourishment, and beauty to our community. Your support is truly invaluable!​”

Ruth and Naomi’s said the gardens will not only provide fresh produce but act as a symbol of hope, growth and self-sustainability for the people it serves.
