CHILLIWACK — Ruth and Naomi’s is welcoming a community garden at its housing facility in Chilliwack thanks to the generosity of a Lower Mainland seed company.
“We are thrilled to announce that the gardens at Ruth & Naomi’s are now being planted, thanks to the generosity of West Coast Seeds!” Ruth and Naomi’s wrote on Facebook Monday. “A special shout-out and heartfelt thanks to West Coast Seeds for their generous donation of seeds, which will bring life, nourishment, and beauty to our community. Your support is truly invaluable!”
Ruth and Naomi’s said the gardens will not only provide fresh produce but act as a symbol of hope, growth and self-sustainability for the people it serves.
