ABBOTSFORD — A fire east of Clearbrook Road (exit 87) in Abbotsford not only slowed eastbound traffic on Highway 1 Monday morning, but has burned a barn belonging to Neufeld Farms.
Neufeld Farms wrote on Facebook Monday morning at 9:25 a.m.: “Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. We will be closed today due to a barn fire. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
According to a tweet from the Abbotsford Police Department at 8:02 a.m. Monday morning (May 1), King Road in Abbotsford is currently closed in both directions between Clearbrook Road and Columbia Street due to a structure fire in the area. Heavy smoke can be seen in the area.
