CHILLIWACK – Puck drops from a 100-year-old veteran as well as a former Carolina Hurricanes draft pick are among the highlights of two upcoming Chilliwack Chiefs games.

After 32 days on the road, the Chilliwack Chiefs return to the Chilliwack Coliseum for back-to-back games this weekend.

This Friday, November 6, is Great Outdoors Night against the Langley Rivermen at 7 p.m. There will be a special puck drop by Chilliwack Chiefs alumnus and former Carolina Hurricanes draft pick Kevin Estrada, the owner and operator of Sturgeon Slayers who broke his own white sturgeon fishing record this year. Estrada was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal for his outstanding contributions to sturgeon conservation and his leadership within the community.

On Saturday night, the Chilliwack Chiefs will acknowledge the service and valour of Canada’s military veterans during a Remembrance Day game featuring a special puck drop by 100-year-old veteran Bernie Hops. The contest features the first-ever parachute cookie drop, and free admission for all active military personnel and veterans.
