Abbotsford police arrest woman with suspected drugs, $3K in cash after she was seen getting high in car

ABBOTSFORD — The Abbotsford Police Department says it has arrested a woman for drug use after she was spotted getting high inside her car, leading to several items being taken for an ongoing investigation.

On Wednesday, September 30, police say plainclothes patrol officers found her openly consuming drugs in the vehicle in the 2400 block of Crescent Way, and after conducting a traffic stop, police arrested the vehicle’s occupants for drug possession offences.

A search of the vehicle then led to roughly 80 grams of suspected illegal drugs and roughly $3,000 in cash. The items, as well as the vehicle, have all been seized as evidence for an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
