2nd annual Queer Arts Festival comes to Chilliwack Cultural Centre this October

CHILLIWACK — October is going to be painted in all the colours of the rainbow as the annual Queer Arts Festival comes back to Chilliwack for its second year.

The Harvest Café is set to kick off the celebration from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. next Saturday, October 3, for Clay & Coffee – a social night inviting queer folk of all skill levels to decorate clay tiles and connect.

This year’s festival then continues with Myth Valley Studio’s Shining with Colours, an exhibit from October 21 to November 1, and on October 23, residents are invited to an evening of entertainment with Drag in the Wack at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre.

“Expect big personalities, dazzling performances and plenty of reasons to cheer, as these performers take to the stage in bold costumes,” said the Centre.
