Abbotsford Police investigating another potential threat of violence Tuesday morning

ABBOTSFORD – A day after police investigated a suspected swatting call, AbbyPD officers are dealing with another potential threat of violence Tuesday morning.

In a statement, the Abbotsford Police Department says its officers dealt with a situation this morning similar to a previous call that was received Monday morning.

As a precaution, the Abbotsford School District briefly placed Yale Secondary School, McMillan Elementary and William A. Fraser Middle School into a shelter in place.

As of 9:59 a.m. Tuesday morning, police say that order has since been lifted. AbbyPD can confirm that students and staff are safe as this investigation continues.
