Maple Ridge RCMP welcomes new operations officer

MAPLE RIDGE — Mounties in Maple Ridge have now brought their leadership team to full capacity with a new addition to the roster.

RCMP announced Inspector Eusebius (Sub) Wong as the detachment’s new operations officer.

Insp. Wong has three decades of RCMP experience across federal, provincial and municipal business lines in the Lower Mainland, starting in frontline and community policing at the Burnaby detachment before moving into federal surveillance, national security and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT).

“I’m excited to start a new career chapter here in Maple Ridge,” said Inspector Wong. “I look forward to building on my experience and strengthening local public safety initiatives, working closely with my new team and residents of this growing city.”
