Residents invited to 17th annual track walk at Mission Raceway Park for road safety awareness

MISSION — Local motorcyclists and residents are zooming down to two events at the Mission Raceway Park today (Sept. 6).

Starting at 10 a.m., the Westwood Motorcycle Racing Club will be speeding off for its 10th and final round at the Speed-Fanatics Motorsports Circuit.

Shortly after, the circuit will open to kids and their families to join motorcycling legend Bernie Ryan and former AMA Pro Racer Misti Hurst for the 17th annual Track Walk, giving fans a chance to walk the asphalt while raising awareness about street-riding safety. 

“Kids belong at the racetrack, not in the hospital,” said Ryan.
