Abbotsford Police investigating repeated vandalism, damage to cell tower site
ABBOTSFORD — The Abbotsford Police Department is investigating three separate incidents of vandalism and damage that have occurred to a single cell phone tower in the 35000 block of Raven Court.
In a news release Thursday afternoon (Feb. 9), Sgt. Paul Walker of the Abbotsford Police reported that the three incidents, which occurred in the evening hours of January 1, 8 and 12, the cell tower sustained extensive damage to its communications equipment located at the site, resulting in thousands of dollars in damage. Damage to critical infrastructure of this nature is very concerning to the Abbotsford Police, Sgt. Walker pointed out.
