Chilliwack RCMP looking to ID person of interest in robbery

CHILLIWACK – Police in Chilliwack are appealing to the public for help in identifying a person of interest in a robbery that happened on Yale Road back in July 2026.

Chilliwack RCMP spokesperson Corporal Carmen Kiener says police were notified on July 20, 2026, at about 12:20 a.m., that a youth had been confronted by a man believed to be in possession of a firearm in the 46000 block of Yale Road.

Cpl. Kiener says the suspect allegedly pointed what appeared to be a firearm at the youth and demanded property before fleeing the area on a bike.

Investigators are seeking to identify a man who may have information relevant to this investigation.
