Manning Park Resort issues warning to customers about third-party scammers

MANNING PARK – Manning Park Resort is urging its customers not to fall prey to scammers who use third-party messaging services to extract credit card information and other personal information.

In an email sent to its customers on Monday, August 31 at 11:15 a.m., Manning Park Resort is reminding all of its guests to exercise caution when receiving communications about reservations, payments, or other sensitive information.

The resort told customers it does not use third-party messaging services like WhatsApp to request credit card information, payment details or personal information from guests.

For customers’ protection, the resort is asking its guests and customers to do the following:

  • Do not engage with or respond to third parties claiming to represent Manning Park Resort.
  • Do not provide credit card or other payment information by WhatsApp, text message, or other messaging platforms.
  • Do not click on links or follow payment instructions received from an unsolicited message.
  • If you receive a message regarding your reservation and are unsure of its legitimacy, please contact Manning Park Resort directly.

The resort wants guests and customers to only trust communications received directly from Manning Park Resort through its official channels.
