Police welcome prison term for drug trafficker linked to rings in Chilliwack, Abbotsford and Langley
CHILLIWACK/ABBOTSFORD/LANGLEY – Police in Chilliwack say a Langley man charged in connection with a multi-jurisdictional drug trafficking investigation spanning Chilliwack, Abbotsford and Langley has been sentenced to over 11 years in prison.
RCMP spokesperson Corporal Carmen Kiener says the Chilliwack RCMP Priority Target Team launched an investigation in April 2026 into a drug trafficking network operating in Chilliwack, Abbotsford and Langley. Chilliwack police operatives were assisted by the Abbotsford PD, Langley RCMP and the Integrated Emergency Response Team. The investigation led to the arrest of three people and the execution of search warrants at several locations on June 29, 2026.
Police seized significant amounts of suspected controlled substances, firearms, vehicles, and Canadian currency.
