‘I just love them all’: B.C. café owners feed hungry crews as wildfires burn
A café owner in B.C.’s southern Interior says feeding dozens of BC Wildfire Service crew members as they battle a nearby blaze is a labour of love.
“They are my children,” Maria Kosovic, who operates The Stagecoach Cafe in Clinton with her son Nicholas, said in an interview Thursday.
Clinton is the third B.C. community under threat from out-of-control wildfires.
The entire village is under evacuation alert.
